<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reduce the volume of a bottle body made of a synthetic resin into a flat shape so as to be restored so that the bottle body can be handled easily and efficiently at the time while it is molded and filled with liquid contents and at the time when it is discarded, as a result, costs can be reduced. SOLUTION: A step-like reversal line 5 is provided over the vertical circumference of the relatively soft and thin-walled bottle body 1 at the axial line of symmetry thereof. A cylindrical mouth 11 is erected on a shoulder 2 of a large diameter part 6 being a half of the body 1 on one side of the line 5, and a label 7 is applied over nearly the entire surface of a body 3 of the part 6. The part 6 is formed into a relatively hard half-shell part 8, while a small diameter part 9 being a half of the body 1 on the other side of the line 5 is formed into an elastically deformable reversal part 10. Thus, the whole of the part 10 can be easily forced into the part 8 and then can be restored to its original shape.</p> |
