HEAT CYCLE ENGINE UTILIZING HEAT PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat cycle engine utilizing a heat pump that can improve the heat efficiency of the engine by lowering the temperature of a low- temperature heat source. SOLUTION: This heat cycle engine has a heat engine which works by using a working fluid, a working fluid evaporating means which is installed on the upstream side of the heat engine and evaporates the working fluid by heating the fluid through a high-temperature heat source, and a working fluid condensing means which is installed on the downstream side of the heat engine and condenses the working fluid by cooling the fluid through the low-temperature heat source. This engine also has a circulating means which circulates the working fluid among the heat engine, working fluid evaporating means, and working fluid condensing means. The low-temperature heat source constitutes an adsorption/desorption type heat pump equipped with an adsorbent and provides a temperature lower than an ordinary temperature by utilizing the latent heat caused by the adsorption medium adsorbing/desorbing actions of the adsorbent.
