INSPECTION DEVICE FOR GRAVURE CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a gravure cylinder capable of easily inspecting the surface flaw of the gravure cylinder. SOLUTION: The inspection device for the gravure cylinder is equipped with a placing stand 1 on which the gravure cylinder G can be placed, a frame 2 for supporting the placing stand 1 in a tiltable manner and an image pickup 3 provided under the placing stand 1. The image pickup means 22 of the image pickup 3 is constituted so as to be capable of running along the axial line direction of the gravure cylinder G. The marking means 23 integrated with the image pickup means 22 is also moved simultaneously with the image pickup means 22. The image data of the surface of the gravure cylinder G picked up by the image pickup means 22 is operationally processed by a control means also used as an image processing part and the flaw of the gravure cylinder G is detected. Marking is applied to the vicinity of the flaw on the surface of the gravure cylinder G corresponding to the position of the detected flaw by the marking means 23.
