PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge structure of a special construction adaptable to one or multi-stage selective operation of an inflator. SOLUTION: An air bag device 3 for a vehicle is disposed at the rear of an air bag lid part 5 and comprises a door member 13 pressed by the swelling pressure of an air bag body to rotate through hinge parts 30, 31, 32, 321, and 322 so as to form a dwelling opening in the air bag lid part 5. The first hinge parts 30 and 31 and second hinge parts 32, 321, and 322 are provided as hinge parts. The second hinge parts 32, 321, and 322 allow the swelling opening to be formed by bending at a stage where the swelling pressure of the air bag body is lower than a specified value. |
