PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining wood wherein end parts of wood can be joined to each other in high strength, can be easily joined together even by a green hand and an operating cost can be controlled low. SOLUTION: In a method for joining mutual end parts of a plurality of wood pieces, a bolt is buried in a length direction so that a screw part is projected from the end face of the wood of which the fiber direction is a length direction and fixed. By respectively inserting a projecting screw part of each wood into each through-hole of a joining component of a hollow square cylindrical shape having each through-hole on a plurality of surfaces, the end surface is made to abut against each surface of the joining component to be fixed so that the fiber direction of each wood becomes almost normal to the surface of the joining component. Thereby, end parts of the wood are joined to each other via the joining component.
