PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of effectively preventing the reduction of a notification effect even when a displayed result led and displayed by a variable display device is different from given notification contents. SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with a previously deciding means for deciding whether to permit displaying of a previously fixed display mode at a stage before the displayed result of the variable display device is led and displayed, a notification means capable of recognizably giving notification that the previously deciding means can have permitted displaying of a prescribed display mode among the previously fixed display modes, and an informing result announcing means capable of announcing whether the previously deciding means has permitted displaying of the prescribed display mode given by the notification means on condition that the prescribed display mode given by the notification means is different from a display mode led and displayed by the variable display device.
