PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frozen noodles capable of largely improving works in freeze forming process, and preventing noodles from becoming short due to breakage of a noodle mass. SOLUTION: The frozen noodles are obtained by freezing a noodle mass formed of boiled noodles, wherein the frozen noodle mass comprises a thin part 11 at the center thereof and a thick part 12 surrounding the circumference of the thin part. It is desirable that the frozen noodles have no peaked shapes in order to prevent the corners of the noodles from being broken when produced or transported. Such a structure where the thick part is formed so as to surround the circumference of the concave part thereof unlike the conventional structure where grooves cross in a plane direction makes, the noodle mass hard to be broken and hard to produce short noodles. In addition, the frozen noodles have such an advantage in that the noodle mass is easy to be taken off out of molds for freezing unlike the conventional structure where piercing holes are provided at the center thereof. |
