TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEDICAL IMAGE INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store medical image information collected by a modality device in an image server device under an environment impossible of on-line connection due to physical restriction. SOLUTION: This transmission method for the medical image information is constituted of a first process recording the medical image information collected by a modality device 2 in a portable workstation or a portable personal computer 1 near the modality device, a second process connecting the portable workstation or the portable personal computer to an image server device 5, and a third process transmitting the medical image information recorded in the portable workstation or the portable personal computer to the image server device. This constitution can drastically improve the connection even under such environment that the modality device and the image server device cannot be connected through the network.
