<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and rapidly perform a judgment by optimizing the data structure of a hit file in conformation to various factors. SOLUTION: This game system comprises an image display device, an input device for outputting a signal according to a user's operation, and a control device for progressing a game in reference to the output of the input device and displaying an image according to the progress state on the screen of the display device. The control device comprises a means for detecting the present position of a mobile operated by a user by use of the input device on the basis of the output of the input device, a means for determining which of a plurality of groups classified by areas in a space the mobile belongs to, and a judgment means for performing a hit judgment by use of the hit data belonging to the determined group. The hit data is divided into a plurality of groups and used, whereby the hit judgment can be more efficiently and rapidly performed.</p> |
