PURPOSE: Provided is a textile twist preventing device of a textile expander which is characterized by rotating a floatation body and a guiding tube by twist of textile under a condition of no resistance, sensing twist direction and twist number of the textile exactly and rotating a rotating tube in the opposite direction of twist of the textile to untwist. CONSTITUTION: The textile twist preventing device of the textile expander is comprised of: permanent magnets(20,22) installed on the inside of an upper and a lower holders(10,16); the floatation body(26) bonded a permanent magnet(24) and installed between the holders(10,16); the guiding tube(30) built-in the floatation body(26); and detecting sensors(32,34) which are installed on the guiding tube(30) and the upper holder(16), sensing twist direction and twist number of the guiding tube(30) and delivering the sensing signal to a textile rotating device. The floatation body(26) is floated between the holders(10,16), because same polarities of the permanent magnets(20,22,24) are arranged face to face.
