PURPOSE: A deflection yoke for a CRT is provided to reduce dispersion of deflection yoke and allow assembly work to be easily performed, by arranging a fixing guide for coupling a main ferrite core and an auxiliary ferrite core. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a horizontal deflection coil and a vertical deflection coil for deflecting electron beam emitted from an electron gun in horizontal and vertical directions; a ferrite core(100) having a main ferrite core(110) for improving a magnetic efficiency by reducing loss of magnetic force generated from horizontal and vertical deflection coils and an auxiliary ferrite core(120) coupled to left and right sides of the main ferrite core; and a holder for fixing the horizontal and vertical deflection coils and the ferrite core to predetermined positions, and insulating the horizontal deflection coil from the vertical deflection coil. The auxiliary ferrite core has guide protrusions formed at both sides of the ferrite core, in such a manner that guide protrusions correspond to fixing protrusions(131) of a fixing guide(130). The fixing guide for fixing the auxiliary ferrite core to the main ferrite core, is mounted to the main ferrite core.
