PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ink viscosity rise in an ink reservoir of a corrugated fiberboard printer. SOLUTION: The printer of an ink supply type stores the ink in the ink reservoir 11 formed between a form roller 1 having a fine ruggedness on a surface and a squeezing roller 2 oppositely contacted at its peripheral surface with the form roller, and adheres the ink to a printing plate on a plate cylinder 9 contacted with the roller 1. The roller 2 is covered with a cover 6. A method for preventing the ink viscosity rise comprises the steps of atomizing a thinning liquid in a fine spray state to a misting chamber 60 formed in the cover, covering the surface of the roll 2 with the fine particles of the liquid to dampen it, and bringing the wet of the roll 2 to the reservoir 11 by rotating the squeezing roller.
