PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the order of priority of printers according to the quantity of printing data considering the processing performance of the printers and operate the printers in a network in which a plurality of printers different in processing performance can be used. SOLUTION: A host computer 10 for manager has a priority order setting means, a priority order registering means, and a print control means. The priority order setting means sets the order of priority in selecting a printer considering the processing performance by output data quantity region to a printer 30. The priority order registering means transmits and registers the set priority order data to a plurality of host computers 20 via a network 40. The print control means acquires the order of priority in the data quantity region corresponding to the data quantity of the printing data detected by the plurality of host computers 20 at the time of printing by referring to the priority order registered from the host computer 10 for a manager, selecting the printer 20 according to the acquired priority order, and outputting the printing data. |
