PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image exposure device which suppresses variation in density accompanying variation in light emission variation as deterioration with age advances and reproduces gradation variation with high precision after the deterioration advances. SOLUTION: This image exposure device is equipped with a storage part which stores a table wherein the correspondence relation between the quantity of light of a light emitting means and the output density of a photosensitive material is described and a monitor part which monitors the relation between the value of the driving current supplied to the light emitting means and the actual quantity of light emission of the light emitting means, and corrects the table as the gradient of the relation between the driving current value and light emission quantity becomes a specific value less than the gradient of the relation between the driving current and light emission quantity for obtaining the relation between the light quantity and output density stored in the table.
