METHOD FOR DESIGNING IC OF VOLTAGE CONTROLLED OSCILLATOR FOR FM TRANSMISSION SIGNAL GENERATOR

PURPOSE: A method for designing an IC(Integrated Circuit) of a voltage controlled oscillator for an FM transmission signal generator is provided to substitute a passive inductor with an active inductor in order to reduce a chip size and an influence of noise by using a low voltage transconductance amplifier. CONSTITUTION: Input signals are differentially received by gates of MN1, MP1 and MN2, MP2. Output signals are differentially outputted by drains of MP3, MN4, MN5, MN6 and MP3, MP4, MP5, MP6. A low voltage transconductance amplifier has a structure of a fully differential amplifier. A plurality of voltage controlled current output circuits(I1,I2) are used for controlling transconductance of the low voltage transconductance amplifier.
