PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin film excellent in glossiness, transparency, anti-blocking properties, and sheet feeding/discharging properties, and to provide a method for producing the film. SOLUTION: The polypropylene resin film 2 melt-extruded from a T-die 1 is led between a rotating mat chrome-plated metal chilled roll 3 the surface of which is finished to be a 0.1-0.2 S ultra-specular surface by buffing, and further finished by sandblasting of #120-150 and a rotating specular rubber roll 4 of 60-80 rubber hardness which is coated with a rubber film and can be used at 280 C or above and cooled while being pressed to obtain the polypropylene resin film of at least 100% surface glossiness, of at least 100% back glossiness, of 0.18-0.65 longitudinal dynamic friction coefficient between the surfaces, and of 0.18-0.65 longitudinal dynamic friction coefficient between the backs.
