PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily charge a recording paper roll. SOLUTION: A roll hold mechanism 58 is provided in a charge cover 42. The roll hold mechanism 58 is constituted by a hold plate 43, a first position adjusting part 59, and a second position adjusting part 60. The hold plate 43 is mounted coaxially to the charge cover 42 and spring energized in the clockwise direction. The first position adjusting part 59 is constituted by a positioning plate 63, a link mechanism 64, and a connection link 68. The second position adjusting part 60 is constituted by a positioning plate 66 and a link mechanism 67. In accordance with a winding diameter of a recording paper roll 40, an opening angle of the hold plate 43 and the charge cover 42 is changed, and a protruded amount of the positioning plates 63, 66 is respectively changed. The recording paper roll 40 is held by the positioning plates 63, 66 and the hold plate 43 and set to a prescribed position regardless of the winding diameter when the charge cover 42 is completely closed.
