PURPOSE: A rotary controller of an electronic device is provided to allow a user to conveniently use the electronic device and to precisely set a controller in a narrow space inside the electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A rotary controller of an electronic device includes a rotation part(12), an operation panel, and a microcomputer(15). The rotation part has a plurality of contacts(13) formed of a conductor. The rotation part is used for selecting an operation mode. The operation panel includes a guide spring formed of a conductor and a button for executing a specific operation after the operation mode is selected. The guide spring allows neighboring contacts to be electrically connected to each other according to the rotation of the rotation part. The operation panel has the same axis as the axis of the rotation part. The microcomputer receives an electric signal caused by the electrical connection of the contacts to operate the electronic device. |
