<p>The machine for continuously grinding the surfaces of decorative chains, especially plated chains formed of links, consists of a guide strip on which the chains (2) are laid. The guide strip has pressure and conveyor chains (3, 4) at the sides, which run continuously on each side of the guide strip, over deflector and drive wheels (5, 6). The pressure and conveyor chains (3, 4) are run by means of thrust bearings or roller bearings (7, 8) along the decorative chain which is positioned between them. The pressure and conveyor chains (3, 4) consist of links hinged together with joint pins at the ends. The drive wheels (6) have toothed or corrugated outer circumferences.</p> |
