PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head driving circuit, in which the lowering of a power source voltage of a magnetic disk device is attained. SOLUTION: The magnetic head driving circuit is arranged in such a manner that main driving circuits symmetric around a recording coil are furnished and at least two pairs or more of superimposing circuits forming a pair of a positive pulse superimposing circuit and a negative pulse superimposing circuit symmetric around this coil are furnished, and also at least one of the superimposing circuits is driven to apply the potential difference equal to or larger than the power source to a magnetic head coil by inverting the direction of a magnetic head coil current. By this arrangement, an auxiliary driving circuit having the constitution symmetric around the coil to promote the inversion of the magnetic head coil current is formed, then the center potential of the coil close to the potential of the disk is stably obtained, and also the lowering the power source voltage is attained without increasing the inversing time.
