PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a citral acetal capable of retaining a lemon flavor specific to the citral, an aromatizing composition and a leucine dehydrogenase(LDH) inhibitor containing the citral acetal, and a deodorant, cosmetic and dermal agent for external use containing the above inhibitor. SOLUTION: This citral acetal is expressed by general formula (1) (wherein, a wave line expresses a cis-form, trans-form or mixture of them; and R is a 1-9C linear or branched chain alkyl), and the aromatizing composition containing the citral acetal, the LDH inhibitor consisting of the citral acetal, and the deodorant, cosmetic and dermal agent for external use containing the LDH inhibitor are also provided.
