PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double floor constructing member which can easily and positively construct a floor joist and a floor plate in the horizontal direction in the construction field, and to provide a double floor constructing method. SOLUTION: The double floor constructing member is formed of a temporary bearing leg for determining height, a temporary strut 3 for bearing the floor joist 1 at the height determined by the temporary bearing leg, and a bearing strut bonded to a bottom surface of the floor joist 1. The temporary bearing leg includes a vertically movable pier stud 7, and an engaging tool 8 for engaging the pier stud 7 at a predetermined height. The temporary strut 3 is bonded to a concrete slab floor, and functions to fix the floor joist thereto. The double floor constructing method is carried out in the following manner. First, the height of the floor joist 1 is determined by using the temporary pier stud, and the floor joist 1 is pinched by or mounted on the temporary bearing leg, followed by fixing the temporary strut 3 to the concrete slab floor. Further, the floor joist 1 is fixed to the temporary strut 3, and the bearing strut is fixed to the bottom surface of the floor joist 1, followed by interposing an unevenness adjusting material between the bearing strut and the concrete slab floor, to thereby fix the former to the latter.
