PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional manufacturing method for a resin-covered roller that a process for making a resin surface flat and smooth in cutting machining is required after a process for covering a roller with resin and it is covered with resin in a process for manufacturing the resin-covered roller having a support part, the support part must be machined and manufactured after covering when it is covered with resin by extrusion molding, and much time and cost are required to manufacture the resin-covered roller in order to provide a manufacturing method for the resin-covered roller capable of shortening manufacturing time and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method for the resin-covered roller, a plurality of roller members consisting of a roller base material and a roller support bar are connected by a cylindrical tube in the axial direction to form a connected body of the roller members, and the tube covered with resin is removed from the connected roller member covered with resin after covering outer periphery of the connected roller member with resin by extrusion molding to separate the roller member covered with resin.
