<p>A method for the production of weatherresistant powder coatings on metallic or nonmetallic surfaces by applying a coating powder composition followed by melting and curing. The applied coating powder composition is comprised of polyester resins, the acidic component thereof either on its own or in a form mainly based on aromatic dicarboxylic acids, the anhydrides thereof andor esters, in addition to multifunctional lowmolecular epoxides as crosslinking agents. The melting and curing occurs by means of near infrared radiation.</p> |
