The container is cylindrical and has a cardboard exterior (1) lined with an inner covering (2) and an intermediate gap (3). The gap may be filled with insulating material (4) or remain as an air gap. The base has a metallic surround (6) and the lid (7) is reinforced with a metallic surround (8). The inner side of the base is covered with a layer of corrugated cardboard. The whole container may be well insulated.
