APPARATUS FOR INCREASING THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF THERMOELECTRIC MODULE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for increasing thermal efficiency of a thermoelectric module is provided to reduce an occupied space by minimizing the volume, and to increase the thermal efficiency by improving the structure in contact with the thermoelectric module. CONSTITUTION: An upper heat sink(1) is installed in the upper portion of the apparatus for increasing the thermal efficiency. An exhausting fan(2) is settled in the upper center of the upper heat sink. A cap(3) for protecting the heat sink prevents heat from being exhausted, installed at the edge of the upper heat sink. A plurality of penetration holes for a bolt(4) are formed at the edge of a thermoelectric module groove so that the thermoelectric module groove is connected to the lower portion of the upper heat sink by the bolt. The thermoelectric module(20) is included in the center of the thermoelectric module groove. A concave groove is formed in the lower portion of a cap(6) for protecting the thermoelectric module. The upper center of a thermoelectric module contact unit which is closely attached to the lower portion of the thermoelectric module is formed in an extender(7). The extender is inserted into the groove of the cap for protecting the thermoelectric module and the thermoelectric module, connected to the cap for protecting the thermoelectric module by the bolt. A lower heat sink(9) is installed in the lower portion of the extender, connected to the extender by a bolt. An inner circulating fan(10) is formed in the lower center of the lower heat sink.
