PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of quickly releasing the capacity of a memory device even when a user splittingly specifies the printing of a large quantity of print data. SOLUTION: When data are received from an external device (S101), a CPU 1 judges whether there are data having the same ID or name as the received data in the data stored in a large-capacity memory device 3 so far or not (S102). When the data having the same ID or name are already stored in the large- capacity memory device 3 (S102; Y), the data having the same ID and the received data are correlated with each other (S103), and the received data are stored in the large-capacity memory device 3 (S104) to complete a process. When the large-capacity memory device 3 has no data having the same ID as the received data (S102; N) but the received data have a storage command (S105; Y), the received data are stored in the large-capacity memory device 3 as data having a new ID (S104) to complete the process. |
