PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubricant-retaining ability between mutually lubricative guide surfaces respectively provided on a base and a key top of a key switch device. SOLUTION: A key switch device 10 comprises a base 12 having a sleeve 24 and a key top having a slider 38 arranged movably in a lifting direction on the base 12 and contained lubricatively in the lifting direction in the sleeve 24. An inner peripheral surface 32 of a main part 28 of the sleeve and an outer peripheral surface 40 of the slider 38 have substantially rectangular sectional forms corresponding to each other. A fine groove 60 extending in the lifting direction of the key top is formed at a contact site with the inner surface 32 of the sleeve main part 28 in each of arc surfaces 44 provided at four corners of the outer peripheral surface 40 of the slider 38, and a lubricant is filled into the fine groove 60.
