<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-directionally inputting rubber switch as an inexpensive pointing device capable of easily operating a pointer such as a cursor in a GUI environment of a portable information apparatus and varying a moving speed of the pointer. SOLUTION: A contact circuit comprises a common electrode (6) having a radial contact pattern 10b where a part contacting with a ring-like movable contact and conducting with it is varied depending on a direction of pressing and tilting a projecting operating button, a ring-like contact pattern R surrounding the radial contact pattern, and a plurality of arm parts extending radially outwardly, and the same number of segment electrodes (1) to (4) as that of the arm parts that are faced to the arm parts of the common electrode with a predetermined clearance sandwiched outside the arm parts. The ring-like contact pattern is formed so as to surround the segment electrodes from the outside with a predetermined clearance sandwiched.</p> |
