MEASURING METHOD OF BOGIE FOR ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of a bogie for a rolling stock capable of accurately measuring three-dimensional positions of centers of respective wheels and conducting various measurements simultaneously. SOLUTION: A reference plane is three-dimensionally measured based on a surface plate face and a plurality of points of a wheel tread of a first wheel of the bogie are three-dimensionally measured. An XY plane is determined with the center of the first wheel taken as the origin of an XYZ coordinate system by calculating the center of the first wheel. A plurality of points of a wheel tread of a second wheel are measured, the center of the second wheel is calculated, and an X axis is determined based on a projection point to the XY plane with the second wheel taken as a center and an origin, thereby determining a Y axis which is orthogonal to the X axis. A plurality of points of wheel treads of a third and a fourth wheels which remain are measured, thereby measuring the three-dimensional coordinate in the XYZ coordinate system with the first to fourth wheels taken as their centers.
