PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching construction for grating to a supporting frame member of a U-shaped side ditch having soundproofing ability and endurance. SOLUTION: At a predetermined position of a top plate with an U-shaped cross section located at the top portion of a concrete side plate of a grating supporting member for the U-shaped concrete side ditch, a square recessed drop portion lacking in an inner side plate is provided; for the recessed drop portion, a rubber member is used which is a square tubing used laterally with a bolt hole at the bottom portion, one end of the bottom portion is cut out, the top portion is made flush with the top plate of the supporting frame member, relevant portions are notched so that a projected end edge of the top plate of the supporting frame member at an opening, bite into the light and left upper corners an opposite side portion having an easily detachable width is fitted and inserted; as a pushing fittings for the grating, a horizontal portion comprising an L-shaped plate having a bolt hole in the horizontal portion and a reversed U-shaped plate connected to its upright portion is placed astride at the bottom of the rubber member; the reversed U-shaped plate having a cut trench touches and straddles the notch portion at the upper edge of the end plate of the grating adjacent to the recessed drop portion; and a nut is tightened through a washer for a projected bolt and the holding fittings is fixed to the recessed drop portion.
