PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new star polymer used for a polymer solid electrolyte suitable for a lithium battery and a polyelectrolyts composed of the star polymer and a lithium salt, having high ionic conductivity and excellent in moldability. SOLUTION: This star polymer is a star-shaped block copolymer comprising a central nucleus and an arm part (A) composed of a polymer chain extended from the central nucleus and characterized in that the arm part (A) comprises the polymer chain (A1) having a recurring unit represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 and R3 denote each H or methyl; R2 denotes H or a 1-6C alkyl; R4 denotes H, an alkyl, an aryl, an acyl or silyl; n denotes 0, 1 or 2; and m denotes an integer of 1-50) and the central nucleus is prepared by crosslinking a polyfunctional compound having a polymerizable double bond. The polyelectrolyte is composed of a composite material of the star polymer and the lithium salt. |
