PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold color panel material not generating fading or discoloration over a long period of time and useful as a building material. SOLUTION: The gold color panel material is constituted by forming a gold color coating film 3 which comprises a mixture of a gold color odd-shaped powder 3A obtained by applying gold plating to the surfaces of glass flakes or cut pieces of a glass fiber and a transparent resin paint 3B, and a transparent resin layer 4 comprising a transparent resin paint on the coating substrate layer 2 of a base material 1 having the coating substrate layer 2 applied to at least the single surface thereof in this order.
