PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a ligand-responding gel having a wide usage in drug delivery, a drug-releasing microcapsule, and the like. SOLUTION: A gel (agglomerate) is obtained by compounding a polymer having an immobilized protein-recognizing ligand with a polyvalent protein. The gel is disintegrated by the addition of a free ligand or a ligand analogue, that is, it exhibits ligand responding property. Further, the addition of an active substance to the gel can produce an active substance-releasing agent.
