PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring that prevents deterioration in sealing function of the seal ring caused by centrifugal force generated accompanying the outer cylinder rotation. SOLUTION: The seal ring 7 partitions in an axial direction an annular space between a shaft body 2 and the outer cylinder 1 concentrically and rotatably disposed on an outer diameter side of the shaft body 2. The seal ring 7 has: an annular body 71 of which outer periphery is attached to the outer cylinder and of which inner periphery extends toward an outer peripheral face of the shaft body 2; and radial lip 72 that is formed of flexible elastic material, disposed to the inner periphery of the annular body 71 so as to project obliquely inward in a diameter direction, and is brought into press-contact with the outer peripheral face of the shaft body 2 with a required interference. The center of gravity R of a section with respect to a rocking fulcrum Q of the radial lip 72 is located at a position for preventing bending of the radial lip 72 outward in the diameter direction when receiving the rotational centrifugal force. |
