PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition and its molded product, the main ingredient of which is a polyglycolic acid type aliphatic polyester resin, and the resin composition having excellent biodegradable property which has not been known before, together with softness, processability, practical strength, and barrier property, when the composition is subjected to process for making thin-wall and plasticized products. SOLUTION: The glycolic acid type resin composition and its molded product in which the resin composition (C) contains 0.5 to 30% by weight of an additive (B) to a resin (A) of which the main ingredient is a polyglycolic acid type aliphatic polyester resin, having the crystal melting point of 110 to 250 deg.C, wherein the main ingredient of the additive (B) is a glycerin condensate (a dimer to tetramer) of saturated ester compound which is characterized by at least one selected from the group consisting of a glycerin condensate of saturated ester compound, wherein the fatty acids constituting the ester groups are all short chain fatty acids having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and a glycerin condensate (a dimer to tetramer) of saturated ester compound wherein two of the fatty acids constituting the ester groups are said short chain fatty acids, and the remaining one of the fatty acid is an intermediate length chain fatty acid having 7 to 12 carbon atoms. |
