GAS BARRIER FILM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND VACUUM HEAT INSULATING BODY USING GAS BARRIER FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film having sufficiently high gas barrier properties for the long-term preservation of food or the vacuum keeping of a vacuum heat insulating panel. SOLUTION: An inorganic oxide membrane layer or a metal membrane layer is formed on at least one surface of a resin film and an amorphous carbon film layer is further formed on the inorganic oxide or metal membrane layer to constitute the gas barrier film. By this constitution wherein the gas barrier layer is made double, gas barrier properties not sufficient in a single gas barrier layer can be enhanced. Further, the vacuum heat insulating body capable of holding long-term heat insulating capacity can be obtained by using this gas barrier film.
