PURPOSE:To join Al alloy members firmly with stable strength in the case of joining said members by providing projections to the places of the members to be joined. CONSTITUTION:Projections 3 are provided on both surfaces of the root members 2 of Al alloy heat radiation fins 1. A composite brazing sheet 4 is interposed between the material 2 of the fin 1 and the material 2 of the adjacent fin 1. The sheet 4 has brazing filler metals 6, 6 on both surfaces of a core material 5. While pressure is exerted upon the member 2 and the member 2 respectively from the direction where the sheet 4 exists, that is, from the right and left directions in arrow directions to the center, the members are heated and joined. Since the projections are provided in the places of the members to be joined, surface areas are large and gases are expelled by breaking oxidized films. The brazing filler metals of the composite brazing sheet intrude between these projections and join the members, thus joining the members firmly. |
