PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket which is capable of effectively retaining the heat insulating of the lower half of the body, such as the portions below the waist and the tiptoes of the feet in spite of a simple structure. SOLUTION: This blanket is formed by projectingly providing the front surface of a blanket body 22 with heat insulating cloth 23 extending toward longitudinal sides 22a and 22b to a belt form and arraying a plurality of such belt-shaped heat insulating cloth 23 toward transverse sides 22c and 22d of the blanket body 22.
