PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable wavelength optical part with which an excellent tuning range is available despite having the simple construction and being excellent in terms of cost. SOLUTION: The variable wave length optical part which varies the wavelength of the Bragg reflection in a grating fiber, is so composed that the part has a supporting body which is extended in the longitudinal direction of the fiber and can be bent, the grating fiber is installed at a position which is eccentrically dislocated from the bending center of the supporting body, and the grating is compressed or extended by the bending of the supporting body.
