PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping settlement surrogate method by which both of a seller and a purchase applicant can perform the selling/buying transaction of merchandise by using a network such as the Internet, without anxiety. SOLUTION: When a surrogate agency 104 is requested to provide a service from the purchase applicant registered as a member and the seller, the agency 104 surrogates for merchandise shipping and payment between the seller and the purchase applicant based on personal information given in the case of the registering. When shipping the merchandise of the seller to the purchase applicant, the agency 104 confirms whether or not the merchandise is matched with the object of the transaction is. In the case of matching, the merchandise is shipped and its price is paid to the seller. In the case of not matching, the shipping of the merchandise to the purchase applicant is canceled and the payment of the price is also canceled. |
