<p>The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to a device for the heat treatment and hydraulic transportation of a large roll stock. The inventive device comprises a burner nozzle, a drive pipe, a cooling chamber provided with an input funnel whose cavity is connected by means of a drive channel to a cut-off element fitted with a cone nozzle. Said device is characterised in that the cut-off element is embodied in the form of a bowl-shaped cut-off head provided with a central conical boss. Said conical boss is introduced in a conically expanding funnel of the cooling chamber in such a way that an annular slot nozzle is formed between the surface of the output conical expanding funnel and the external surface of the conical boss of the cut-off head. Said slot nozzle is connected to the cavity of the cooling chamber embodied at the entry thereof by means of a system of distribution holes arranged along the periphery of the body of the cooling chamber. The invention increases a cut-off capacity when the length of the cooling chamber is decreased.</p> |
