<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high speed printing having high productivity without realizing high operation speed in inversion devices. SOLUTION: A high speed reproducing unit 30 for feeding print sheets 31, 32 arranged in close proximity and across an interval continuously into a sheet conveyance passage controls two sheet inversion devices 33A, 33B independent from each other. The sheets are inverted in the replaceable independent sheet inversion devices by receiving the sheets from the sheet conveyance passage 34 alternately. These two replaceable sheet inversion devices 33A, 33B do not necessitate ultra-high speed and acceleration/deceleration which is usual in a conventional single inversion device system and have the effect that they can operate at the substantially same sheet speed as the speed of the sheet conveyance passage with which the inversion devices are connected. Furthermore, the first adjusted continuous sheet order is maintained by a detour.</p> |
