PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a situation where an operator leaves his desk in an office, by utilizing a card. SOLUTION: The system is capable of entering a state of presence or absence and whereabouts of a worker engaged in brain work in an office into a reader/ writer connected to an information terminal such as a personal computer using a card (of a non-contact read type) and allows anther worker to check the information on his presence one by one via a server. When the worker leaves his desk, locking of operation of the computer is implemented and only a card holder who has been registered in advance can unlock the operation of the computer when he takes a seat. A risk of leakage of information by an act of theft or the like during the worker's absence is reduced by changing periodically a password corresponding to an ID for accessing in the card. |
