<p>A camera signal processing circuit (5) processes a camera signal outputted from an imager (4). A recording circuit (7) records the image signal coming from the camera signal processing circuit (5). A reproducing circuit (8) reproduces the image signal recorded by the recording circuit (7), from a video tape. A microprocessor (9) causes a focus ring (3) mounted to an optical lens (2) to function as a speed varying ring for a variable speed reproduction of the image signal. Therefore, a combination camera and VTR (1) can improve the editing operation drastically while keeping its small size.</p> |
