PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of providing a driver with the safety and pleasant driving of a vehicle by allowing a character to appear on a display image plane. SOLUTION: In this navigation device, one of several modes is set to determine whether the driver keeps the traffic manner or not, and then a processor 1 selects the looks and the expression of the character on the basis of the set mode and a result of the determination. The processor 1 acquires the character data from a storing device 4 on the basis of the looks and the expression of the selected character, and produces the display image data on the basis of the character data. A display device 5 displays the character on the basis of the produced display image data. |
