PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear excellent in mounting workability, simple in structure, with a small number of parts and capable of certainly fixing a pinion shaft on it. SOLUTION: The planetary gear device furnished with a carrier 5 axially supporting a pinion gear 3A engaged and arranged between a sun gear 6 on the inner peripheral side and an internal gear 2 on the outer peripheral side constitutes its characteristic feature of constituting a falling stop member 10 forming an engaging part 10C to be engaged with and released from an exposed part from an end surface of the carrier 5 of the pinion shaft 4 to axially support the pinion gear 3A free to fix on an engaging position, and it is excellent in the mounting workability with a small number of the parts and simple in structure as it is possible to easily and certainly engage the part exposed outside of the pinion shaft 4 with the falling stop member 10.
