PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly measure impedances in respective parts when the human body is divided into the five parts such as upper limbs, lower limbs and a trunk. SOLUTION: A resistance r2 is connected to a part between the electrodes E2 and E3 of upper limb measuring instruments and a resistance r1 is connected between the electrodes E6 and E7 of lower limb measuring instruments. In a first measurement step, a previously known fixed current I is impressed between the electrodes E7 and E3 so as to measure voltages which are generated between the electrodes E7 and E6, the electrodes E8 and E5, the electrodes E2 and E3 and the electrodes E1 and E4. In a second measurement step, the pre-known fixed current I is impressed between the electrodes E6 and E2 so as to measure the voltages generated between E6-E7, E5-E8, E3-E2 and E4-E1. |
