PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared information processing system which allows a server where a chat system is structured and multiple clients to share information and obtains and displays information on files that users registered on client sides pay attention to and their update information. SOLUTION: A client terminal 200 is equipped with a link file registration part 211 which informs a server terminal 100 of registration information on a link file, a link file management part 212 which obtains and manages information regarding the link file, and a link file state display part 213 which displays the information regarding the link file, and the server terminal 100 is equipped with a link file information part 102 which obtains the information regarding the link file and informs the client terminal 200 of it.
