PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable current detection under a high resistance value. SOLUTION: A first device Msw 2 having an input node coupled with a charging current source using the drop value of a measured voltage and a second device Mrep 2 having an input node coupled with a charging current source are driven by an identical control signal in order to generate a replica current Irep of a charging current Ich under the condition Irep=Ich/N (here, N>1) and measuring a voltage drop Vmeas2, induced by the replica current Irep flowing into a measuring resistor Rmeas2, in view of controlling the value of the charging current Ich. A control signal with a pulse width modulation signal has a pulse width, which is controlled as a function of a measured value drop of the measuring resistor or a DC voltage having an adjustable voltage value. A servo-loop is controlled to make identical the potential appearing on an output node of the second device to the potential appearing on an output node of the first device. A storage battery discharge measuring circuit is operated in accordance with the same principle as the storage battery charging circuit. |
